Delete your Veyla account

A Veyla account is the optional sign-in used by our apps for Premium features. Deleting it permanently removes everything we store about you: your email address, your password (stored only as a secure hash), and your subscription tier record. That is the complete list; our apps keep your actual content on your own devices and in your own cloud, never on our servers.

Delete from inside the app (fastest)

1. Open the app and go to Settings.
2. Find the Veyla account section. Sign in if you are not already.
3. Tap Delete account and confirm.

Deletion is immediate and permanent. Accounts are per-app, so a Foliover account and a Novellaire account are separate; delete each one you created.

Delete by email (if you no longer have the app)

Email veylastudios@protonmail.com from the address your account uses, with the subject "Delete my account". Say which app the account is for (Foliover or Novellaire). We will delete the account within 30 days and reply to confirm. Sending from the account's own email address is how we verify the request; we will not delete an account on someone else's behalf.

What is deleted, and what is not

• Deleted permanently: your email address, password hash, and subscription tier record. There is no recovery and no retention period beyond processing the request.
• Not deleted: your notes, books, and files. They were never on our servers; they live on your devices and in any cloud account you connected. Uninstalling the app removes its local data, and anything synced to your own cloud is yours to keep or delete there.
• Subscriptions: deleting your account does not cancel a subscription billed through Google Play. Cancel it in the Play Store under Payments & subscriptions, otherwise Google will keep billing you for an account that no longer exists.
